Utility consumption is one of the main areas where organisations can have a direct, material impact on reducing waste and enhancing overall corporate reputation amongst multiple stakeholders, whilst taking real action against climate change. It is widely recognised that many organisations waste at least 15% of the energy and water they purchase so any savings will have a positive effect on the Service Charge.

The purpose of monitoring and targeting (M&T) is to set the benchmark in utility usage. By relating utility consumption data to the weather, building occupation and operations and other measures, we can get a better understanding of how energy and water is being used. M&T will help to establish existing usage patterns and help clients compare their own energy usage with that of others and by highlighting the best energy and water saving opportunities, M&T can then be used to set clear and measurable targets.

Our M&T system has been designed and is managed by specialist engineers and energy management professionals, with years of experience. Our bespoke software services provide individual and multi site reporting in clear and useful formats which are exception based and easy to understand. It’s not a one-off exercise but a dynamic and continual process. So where we see a problem we will email you with the information follow up with a call to discuss the next steps. Alternatively we can issue monthly reports to nominated contact and follow this up with a phone-call and then a meeting if required.
